Born in a land far, far away, as a child Lachlan was left abandoned in a jungle to be raised by a pack of wolves & later mentored by a large blue bear named Baloo.

The animals of the Jungle taught Lachlan that while life can be cruel, it can also be beautiful, and that no matter what dangers are lurking around the corner, a humorous and melodic song can solve any problem. They also taught him how to kill a man using only his teeth, but this is less relevant.

Since then Lachlan has toured throughout Australia, Asia, the UK and America performing as an actor & puppeteer with Polyglot Theatre and Phunktional Arts Company.

As a writer, Lachlan has written, recorded and produced four christmas albums, created a touring musical show for children and has written songs that have been performed at such prestigious venues as The Butterfly Club and Hamer Hall in Melbourne, the Sydney Opera House and The Kennedy Centre in Washington DC.

Following it’s successful debut in Australia, and international debut in Singapore, Lachlan has recently returned from New York, where he performed in the new Polyglot Show Tangle at the Lincoln Centre, and is soon to embark on a three month national tour of Polyglot’s beloved puppet theatre show Muckheap.

Following the success of his two previous christmas albums (A Merry Christmas ’09, A Merry Christmas ’10), in 2011 Lachlan raised the stakes and ventured into new territory with A Very Merry Christmas. This original one man stage show featured audience favourites from the previous christmas albums as well as highlights from the brand spanking new christmas album for 2011. The show ran for four hilarious nights in December at Melbourne’s premier Christmas venue, The Butterfly Club. Read the Review HERE.

The Christmas album for 2012 has been released. Featuring theatrical skits, instrumental abstractions and some new comedic ditties, it is sure to impress. Check it out here.

Lachlan recently completed the follow up season of his brand new two man musical/comedy cabaret show Saturn Returns with long time collaborator Simon Abrahams, at the Brisbane Cabaret Festival supporting Tripod. Premiering at the Butterfly Club on the 3rd of July 2012, it enjoyed a sell out six night season and was lauded by critics and audiences alike.

This year Saturn Returns ... returns for a 2 week season as a part of the 2013 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Featuring all the hits from last season as well as a new song or two and a bunch of new gags thrown in for good measure, join us at The NEW Butterfly Club in the CBD for a night of neuroses fuelled hilarity. Trust us, you’ll flippin’ LOVE IT!
